• All features of IDCAT are supported with a web-based interface compatible with Internet Explorer 9.0 and higher, Safari, and Chrome.  The data collection features are also designed for compatibility with mobile devices/iPads.

IDCAT and AQP / EBT / SMS

In order to support an airlines’ internal business practices, IDCAT was specifically designed to:

• Produce data reports of the specified data frameworks to meet FAA requirements for the AQP ​
• Meet the current requirements of the Pilot Training Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) as specified in FAA Advisory Circular 121-54, Advanced Qualification Programs, and the Airline Quality Assurance (QA) data collection
• Eliminate the liability of long-term retention of detailed performance data
• Support a concurrency management process
• Provide extensibility for integration of Flight Attendants and Dispatch into AQP
• Provide extensibility for integration of other disparate data streams as required for in FAA Advisory Circular 120-92B, Safety Management Systems for Aviation Service Providers

IDCAT History

Previous generations were deployed for USAirways AQP and the Volant Integrated Training System (ITS) was developed for the United States Marine Corps. 

​Significant modifications were subsequently made to integrate airlines’ business processes and policies resulting in a highly customizable application available for a variety of industries. ​
